Green Finance Framework

MDGH has established a Green Finance Framework to issue Green Finance Instruments - which may include bonds, loans, sukuk, medium-term notes, and commercial paper - to finance or refinance projects that enable the transition to a low carbon and climate-resilient economy - furthering our continued commitment to achieving the Net Zero 2050 goals as set out by the UAE Government.

Published alongside this document is a Second Party Opinion - an independent assessment of the Framework - by Sustainalytics, which assures that it is in alignment with the ICMAs Green Bond Principles 2021 and LMAs Green Loan Principles 2023.
